Kolkata Rape-Murder:
According to a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) official, Sanjay Roy, the main suspect in the horrifying rape and murder of a doctor in Kolkata, is a “pervert and severely addicted to pornography” as a result of his psychological profiling. This critical evaluation adds more evidence to the case, which has already caused a stir in the country. The officer went on to say that Roy had a “animal-like instinct,” adding that he showed no regret at all during the questioning.
Undeterred Disclosure
Sanjay Roy allegedly showed no remorse or shame for his acts. Roy is accused of raping and killing a female doctor within the government-run RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Speaking to PTI, a CBI officer disclosed that Roy described the act in graphic detail and showed no remorse at all. “The man detailed the entire occurrence, giving every little detail without missing any, and exhibited no remorse. The officer said, “It seemed like he had no regrets.”
Nationwide shockwaves have been caused by the incident, which happened as the victim was sleeping in the hospital’s seminar hall after a demanding 36-hour shift. In addition to being sexually assaulted, the victim sustained severe physical abuse, as evidenced by the post-mortem report, which lists 16 exterior and nine inside lesions. It was established that strangling was the cause of death.

A 31-year-old trainee doctor was discovered murdered and sexually assaulted at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal, early on August 9. This discovery led to huge protests and public indignation throughout the nation.
When the doctor’s body was discovered in a bloody state in the hospital’s seminar room, Sanjay Roy, an outsider who frequently visited the hospital, was apprehended as the accused. Roy was a civic volunteer.
The horrific nature of the crime has provoked widespread protests by medical professionals around the nation, providing medical services, while hundreds of doctors continue to strike under various flags, demanding a central law guaranteeing the safety of medics.
Only one day after the horrible atrocity was committed, Sanjay Roy was captured. CCTV footage and technological data were among the various pieces of evidence that led to his arrest. Roy’s entry into the building around the time of the alleged crime was captured on camera, and his Bluetooth headphones were discovered close by, further connecting him to the murder.
Along with finding multiple pornographic videos on Roy’s phone, investigators also found a psychoanalytic profile that suggested he had a serious pornographic addiction. Roy was seen on CCTV in the area of the chest department around 11 a.m. on August 8, and the CBI investigator acknowledged that technological and scientific evidence links him to the murder scene. The video also showed him going inside the same structure around four in the morning on am on August 9, with the estimated time of the victim’s death being between 3 am and 5 am on the same day.
Corruption claims and the “business of dead bodies”

In an attempt to further complicate matters, Dr. Sandip Ghosh’s former colleague Akhtar Ali shockingly claimed on Wednesday that Ghosh was engaged in the “business of dead bodies.” This allegation may reveal a darker, more sinister underbelly to the case and has sparked grave worries about corruption and unethical behavior within the medical facility.
Prospective Conspiracy and Ongoing Investigation
Currently, the CBI is looking into the possibility that the victim’s murder was part of a bigger conspiracy. Dr. Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College, has been under questioning for several days as part of this larger probe. Polygraph tests on Dr. Ghosh, Sanjay Roy, and other case-related people are also being considered by the agency.
The Kolkata Police are investigating into claims that Dr. Sandip Ghosh has financial problems in a separate probe. The allegations, which may have connections to a larger web of illegal activity within the organization, have further complicated the case.
