State government is criticized by opposition

Opposition party leaders have attacked the state administration after the tragedy, claiming it had given little consideration to the quality of work. These figures include Jayant Patil of the NCP (SP), Aaditya Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT), and others.

Thackeray asserted that the BJP’s haughtiness caused the memorial to be created hurriedly.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is our idol and the idol of all of Maharashtra, hence we will never put up with his insults! Eight months after Modi ji inaugurated the hastily constructed Chhatrapati Shivaji memorial in Malvan with an eye toward the elections, the monument collapsed today. Maharaj’s memorial was made in a hurry without taking the gravity of the situation into consideration because of that haughtiness. The memorial’s quality wasn’t taken into consideration because the sole purpose was to exploit the Maharaja’s image.heard nothing at all from the locals. My heart ached greatly as we witnessed our Maharaj’s statue toppling over today. Now, the BJP, that deadly snake that insulted the Maharaja, and the Mindhe dictatorship must bite! “It is important to preserve every image of Maharashtra’s pride, Chhatrapati Shivarai,” he wrote in a Marathi post on X.
